Neurodevelopmental Disorders
- Intellectual Developmental Disorder: A disorder characterized by significant limitations in both intellectual functioning and adaptive behavior
- Language Disorder: Persistent difficulties in the acquisition and use of language across modalities due to deficits in comprehension or production
- Speech Sound Disorder: Persistent difficulty with speech sound production that interferes with speech intelligibility or prevents verbal communication
- Childhood-Onset Fluency Disorder (Stuttering): Disturbances in the normal fluency and time patterning of speech characterized by repetitions, prolongations, or blocks
- Social (Pragmatic) Communication Disorder: Persistent difficulties in the social use of verbal and nonverbal communication
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD): A neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by persistent deficits in social communication and social interaction, and restricted, repetitive patterns of behavior
- Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD): A persistent pattern of inattention and/or hyperactivity-impulsivity that interferes with functioning or development

- Dyslexia (Impairment in Reading): A specific learning disorder characterized by difficulties with accurate or fluent word recognition, poor decoding, and poor spelling abilities
- Dysgraphia (Impairment in Written Expression): A specific learning disorder characterized by difficulties with written expression, including problems with spelling, grammar, and organizing thoughts on paper
- Dyscalculia (Impairment in Mathematics): A specific learning disorder characterized by difficulties in learning or comprehending arithmetic and mathematical concepts
- Developmental Coordination Disorder: A motor skills disorder characterized by deficits in the acquisition and execution of coordinated motor skills
- Stereotypic Movement Disorder: Repetitive, seemingly driven, and apparently purposeless motor behavior that interferes with social, academic, or other activities
- Tourette's Disorder: A tic disorder characterized by multiple motor tics and one or more vocal tics present for at least one year
- Persistent (Chronic) Motor or Vocal Tic Disorder: A tic disorder characterized by either motor or vocal tics, but not both, present for at least one year
- Provisional Tic Disorder: A tic disorder characterized by motor and/or vocal tics present for less than one year
